Identity: Found!

So! Here we are again... ready for a new adventure, a new chapter and a new story. I will be departing for Cannes, France on April 1st to join the 8 other crew members aboard 154' mega yacht, '4 You' as their newest stewardess!

The initial excitement of the new job is beginning to fade and the stress and anxiety of turning a new leaf is well on it's way. Don't get me wrong... I am still completely Stoked for this opportunity and am looking forward to the day that I step foot in France. However, I am just realizing the extensive list of things that need to be done before that day will come. I have exactly one month to wrap up my world in Charleston, SC...condense it all into a small carry on luggage bag... and prepare for a whole new life!

Most of my things on the 'To Do' list are already in the works or already completed. One of which and a Very Important part of this list was to find my passport. I realized just shortly after accepting the new job in France that I have not seen my passport since the day I arrived home from Australia. And if I were to cancel it and get a new one it would take over a month and I don't have that kind of time! So I went home to Rock Hill this past Saturday and buried myself deep in my closet and emptying every box I own. I literally tore.my.room.apart. Long story short; After a near melt down, I ended up finding it in a luggage bag that I forgot I even owned in a pocket that I didn't even know existed! Through the chaos of traveling back from Australia, I must have just tucked it away and completely forgot about it until now. But any who, Identity aka the passport is found. Check!

Every day for the next month I am going to learn a French word or phrase and over use it, so that I'll never forget it. I have several friends that are helping me out with this. Thanks Sara Hill and Lauren Lanzo!! :-)

Today I learned to say "My name is Tess. and I like cheese." I'm not even going to attempt writing it in French. Speaking it is hard enough!
